FAQs

Can I attend without a referral?

Yes. Anyone may attend an appointment without a referral. However, most Australians are eligible to access a Mental Health Care Plan, which provides up to ten Medicare rebates per calendar year that covers a large portion of the appointment between $90 to $150 depending on the psychologist seen and service provided.

How can I claim Medicare rebates?

Please visit your GP (you made need a double/extended appointment) to explain your difficulties and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan. The GP will issue a referral and plan, which you can then use to subsidise your appointments. We process and return rebates on the spot so that you don’t need to attend a Medicare office after the appointment. You will have to pay the full fee on the day of your appointment to claim the Medicare rebate.

Can I use National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding?

Yes as we are an NDIS Registered provider. We can see NDIA managed, plan and self managed participants.

Can I self-refer?

Yes, choosing to pay the full fee without using a mental health care plan or private health fund rebate. Self-funded clients do not need a referral.
